Fever in Children

​

Fever is defined as ear or rectal temperature above 38 C or 100.4 F, oral temperature of 100 F or 37.8 C or higher or axillary temperature of 37.2 or 99 F. This article provide general overview on the conditions causing fever in infant and children.

Common conditions which can cause fever includes

 

  • Malaria

  • Tonsilitis
