Choriocarcinoma is extremely chemo sensitive; cure is possible even in metastatic disease.

Hydatidiform mole

Hydatidiform mole

Two types; complete and partial hydatidiform mole. Treatment is suction curettage or hysterectomy. Careful risk assessment is needed to determine patients who require chemotherapy after surgery.

Cervical cancer

Cervical cancer

This is the commonest female malignancy in developing countries, with ~ 33% of all cancer patients attending at ORCI. It is caused by persistent infection with human papilloma Virus (HPV).
