Faida za kiafya za Mlonge

Mlonge ukifahamika kwa jina la kisayansi Moringa Oleifera (MO), ni mmea wenye uwezo mkubwa wa kuzuia na kutibu magonjwa mbalimbali ya mfumo wa moyo, ini na kongosho. Mmea huu unatoka katika familia ya mimea ya Moringasea ambapo asili yake ni Bara la Afrika na Asia.

 

Tafiti nyingi zimefanyika kugundua faida zake kiafya, ambapo kampaundi ambalimbali zilizomo ndani yake husababisha mmea uwe na uwezo wa kutibu magonjwa mbalimbali. Kampaundi hizo hupatikana kwenye majani yake na hujumuisha vitamini, phenolic asidi flavonoid, isothiosayanati, tannin na saponini.

 

Magonjwa yanayotibiwa na Mlonge

Majani ya Mlonge yamekuwa yakitumika sana na yameonyesha kuwa na uwezo wa kutibu magonjwa mbalimbali sugu ikiwa pamoja na:

Kwa ujumla Mlonge umeonekana kuwa na faida kubwa katika matibabu ya magonjwa yanayohusiana na moyo, ini na kisukari.

 

Majani ya mlonge yamekuwa yakitumika kwa tiba na kama lishe kwa sababu ya kuwa na kampaundi nyingi, viuasumu na virutuishi ambavyo huwa pungufu wa watu wanaoishi kwenye nchi zinazondelea.

  • Vitamin C- Kiwango kikubwa zaidi ya kinachopatika kwenye chungwa

2. Polyphenols

Majani makavu huwa na kiwango kikubwa cha kampaundi jamii ya polyphenol ambazo hujumuisha flavonoid, Quercetin na phenoliki asidi


Flavonoid huua bakteria wanaoshambulia mmea, ambapo kwa binadamu huwa na kazi ya kuzuia magonjwa sugu yatokanayo na viuajisumu kama vile magonjwa ya moyo na saratani. Kiango kizuri cha kampaundi hii hupatikana kwenye mizizi ya mlonge pia.


Quercetin  hupatikana kwenye majani ya mlonge yaliyokausha, kampaundi hii huwa kiuajisumu imara hivyo kufanya kuwa kampaundi muhimu katika tiba.

Asidi za kolinejiki na Kafeini

Asidi ya kolinejiki ni aina kuu ya Asidiya phenolic katika mlonge na hufanya kazi nzuri ya umetaboli wa glukosi ambapo huzuia utengenezaji wa glukosi mwilini.

Hufanya kazi pia ya kuzuia ongezeko la mafuta mwilini na kiwango cha lehemu


4. Alkaloids, Glucosinolates and Isothiocyonates

Alkaloid ni kemikali zinazopatikana kwenye majani ya mlonge. Hufanya kazi nzuri ya kuimarisha afya ya mwili.


5. Tannini

Tannini ni aina ya kampaundi ya phenolic. hupatikana kwa wingi kwenye majani ya mlonge uliokaushwa. Hufanya kazi ya kuzuia saratani, magonjwa ya mishipa ya damu, magonjwa ya ini na yatokanayo na shambulio binafsi la kinga.


6. Saponini

Majani ya mlonge pia huwa chanzo kizuri cha kampaundi saponini. Hufanya kazi ya kuzuia saratani.
