Mlo kamili kwa mtoto wa Miezi 9 kwa ukuaji wa kawaida

Mtoto anapofikisha miezi 9, anatakiwa kupewa lishe ya ziada sambamba na maziwa ya mama. Katika hatua hii, mtoto huhitaji virutubisho vya ziada kwa ajili ya ukuaji wa mwili, ubongo, na kinga dhidi ya magonjwa. Lishe hiyo inapaswa kuwa na uwiano mzuri wa protini, wanga, mafuta, vitamini na madini.

Makala hii inaeleza kwa kina aina ya vyakula vya kumpa mtoto wa miezi 9 kwa ukuaji wa kawaida, kwa kutumia vyakula vya kawaida vinavyopatikana kwa urahisi Tanzania.


Lengo la lishe ya miezi 9

  • Kuchochea ukuaji wa viungo vya mwili

  • Kusaidia maendeleo ya ubongo na uwezo wa kujifunza

  • Kuimarisha kinga ya mwili dhidi ya magonjwa

  • Kuepusha utapiamlo na uzito mdogo

Maelekezo ya ziada
  • Uji wa lishe: Unaweza kuwa mchanganyiko wa unga wa mahindi, mtama, karanga, ulezi au mchele.

  • Mafuta bora: Ongeza kijiko kimoja cha mafuta ya alizeti, ufuta au nazi kwenye uji au wali ili kuongeza nishati.

  • Mboga za majani: Hakikisha zinasafishwa vizuri na kupikwa hadi laini. Zisagwe au zipondwe kabla ya kumpa mtoto.

  • Samaki/dagaa: Pondwa vizuri ili kuepusha mifupa midogo.

  • Mayai: Chemsha hadi yai liive vizuri. Kiasi cha robo hadi nusu kwa siku kinatosha.


Kunyonyesha

Mtoto aendelee kunyonyeshwa angalau mara 3 hadi 5 kwa siku. Maziwa ya mama yanaendelea kuwa chanzo kikuu cha virutubisho na kinga ya mwili.


Vyakula vinavyopendekezwa

1. Wanga (Chanzo cha nguvu)
  • Wali laini

  • Ugali wa dona

  • Viazi vitamu au viazi mviringo

  • Ndizi za kupika


2. Protini
  • Samaki wadogo au dagaa waliopondwa

  • Maharage, dengu, njegere

  • Mayai (ya kuchemsha, robo hadi nusu kwa siku)

  • Maziwa ya ng’ombe yaliyochemshwa (kiasi kidogo)


3. Mafuta bora
  • Mafuta ya alizeti, ufuta au nazi

  • Siagi ya karanga (kidogo kwenye uji au wali)

  • Parachichi


4. Matunda na mboga
  • Matunda: Papai, embe, ndizi mbivu, parachichi

  • Mboga za majani: Mchicha, kisamvu, matembele, majani ya maboga


5. Maziwa ya Mama

Maziwa ya mama yaendelee kutolewa kwa wingi. Maziwa haya yana protini kamili, kinga dhidi ya magonjwa, na huimarisha usagaji wa chakula kingine.


Vidokezo muhimu kwa wazazi

  • Kila mlo upondwe au kusagwa vizuri kulingana na uwezo wa mtoto kutafuna

  • Mtoto aketi wima anapopewa chakula

  • Vyombo viwe safi kabisa kabla ya kupika au kumpa mtoto

  • Usimlishe mtoto kwa haraka; mpe muda wake

  • Epuka chumvi, sukari na vyakula vya viwandani kwa mtoto mwenye umri huu

  • Tumia mikono yako kumsogeza chakula kwa upole, ikiwezekana kwa kutumia kijiko maalum


Idadi ya milo kwa siku

  • Milo mikuu: mara 3 hadi 4 kwa siku

  • Vitafunwa (snacks): mara 1 hadi 2 kwa siku

  • Kunyonyesha: endelea kama kawaida (mara nyingi kadri mtoto anavyotaka)


Hitimisho

Mtoto mwenye miezi 9 anahitaji lishe kamili kwa ukuaji wa kawaida. Kwa kutumia vyakula rahisi vinavyopatikana Tanzania, unaweza kumlea mtoto mwenye afya bora bila kutumia gharama kubwa. Ukihitaji msaada zaidi, usisite kuwasiliana na mtaalamu wa afya au lishe.
