Benign bone cysts and fibrous dysplasia (tumour-like bone conditions)

Simple and aneurysmal bone cysts and fibrous dysplasia are benign lytic bone lesions of adolescents that may cause pain, swelling or pathological fracture. Diagnose with X-ray and CT (fluid levels on MRI in aneurysmal cysts) and treat by curettage and bone grafting, with fixation or casting of fractures.
